Voyage d'Hermès
For her Voyage d’Hermès fragrance, the brand wanted to offer a unique experience. She proposed a contest site where everybody could post a dream of trip. After users voted, the winners could realize their dream with somebody they chose.
And as Hermès does things big, it’s not just one dream that was realized but five: one for each translation of the website.
I designed the animations and drew the illustrations of the dreams of the winners. I worked with the copywriter Cecilia Divet and motion designers to realize these movies.
The english dream: « Creation of art »
« My dream is to one day see the creation of Hermes products in real life. I would love to witness a true artist create beautiful bags out of beautiful leathers, smell the scents, and hear the threads being stiched… »

The french dream: « La caravane tibétaine »
« Je chevauche un petit cheval blanc, les grelots tressés sur sa crinière tintent dans l’air glacé. Je suis au milieu de la caravane, portée par le flux des yacks, des chevaux, des charriots. Odeurs d’animaux, cris, chants qui montent et disparaissent dans le fracas des sabots. La caravane se déroule, grande, puissante, jusqu’à l’horizon. Le ciel est violet, traversé de violents rayons lumineux et de nuées oranges. Quand je me réveille, j’ai l’impression d’avoir été au centre de moi-même. »

The german dream: « Du und ich im Orientexpress »
« Für ein paar Sekunden geweckt werden vom pfeiffenden Geräusch von Zugbremsen, eingekuschelt neben Dir unter bunten Wolldecken, ich spüre Deine ruhigen Atemzüge, hinter mit Wasserdampf beschlagenen Doppelglasscheiben und Blechrollläden, die den fahlen Mondschein in der neblig russischen Taiga nur wenig abhalten, draussen minus 30 Grad, drinnen plus 20, man hört leise chinesische Stimmen aus dem Nachbarabteil und riecht schon den Kaffee aus dem Speisewagen, der für das Frühstück gebraut wird. »

The italian dream: « In mongolfiera … »
« Ho un sogno, anzi in verità ne ho molti, ma questo è speciale: vorrei sorvolare la savana africana in mongolfiera, spiando la natura dal cielo. Vorrei vedere i branchi di zebre correre liberamente, le gazzelle eleganti, le giraffe maestose. Mi sentirei la regina del mondo. »
